em 2018 day 2 1We are getting to the heart of the event, you can tell by the atmosphere. All the characteristics stands are open, public, athletes and staff walk among them. It looks like Christmas, when you stroll the Christmas Markets, only the heat contrasts with the setting.
The day begins with the pas de deux, the only event that still has to debut at this championships. All the pairs did their best, but Julian Kogl and Ronja Kahler (Lars Hansen, Daytona), were brilliant and might seriously win another gold medal for Germany. On the second step of the provisional podium, another German pair, formed by Diana Harwardt (who used to pair with Kogl and won with him the European title 2016) and Peter Kunne, with Sir Laulau and Hendrik Falk on the lunge. On the third position the swiss pair formed by Anjia Schneider and Louisa Ryf (Trudi Kauer, Amaretto du Perchet CH).

The individual freestyle gave many emotions, many performances were remarkable. The rankings have slightly changed, but Germany keeps dominating in all the categories.
Fabienne Nitkowsky (Iris Shulten, Dantez ) won the girls’ first round, followed by her compatriot Alina Ross (Marion Schulze, San Zero), who yesterday was in the lead, then Switzerland’s Samira Garius (Mirjam Degiorgi, Calaro AV CH).
