From June 1st to 4th was held in Villasanta-Monza (MB), at Club Ippico Monzese, the second Italian CVI of the 2023 season. Good participation not only of Italian athletes, but also of a large group of foreigners. Davide Zanella amazed with both a fantastic technical test and freestyle.

The traditional Italian eastern cvi was held between April 6th and 9th at the Horse Riviera Resort in San Giovanni in Marignano (RN). The event saw Greggio and Zanella absolute protagonist, both in the individual and pas de deux classes. Noteworthy were also the performance of Giorgia Fanucci, Giorgia Varisco and Greta Gemignani.

With Manon Moutinho (womens’ gold), Lambert Leclezio and Quentin Jabet’s (respectively males’ gold and silver) spectacular individuas, and the excellent team (silver), France is the ruler of the 2022 Equestrian Vaulting World Championships in Herning. Leclezio, undisputed champion since the first test, scores over 9 in all three tests and wins the world title for the fourth time in-a-row. Germany is good as always, which however must bow, in the individual, to the clear superiority of the French.

The junior European championships were held in Kaposvar (Hungary) from July27th to 31st. Austria and Germany hoarded medals, but Switzwerland won the team event. To France the first ever title as Male Young Vaulter European champion.

After two years hiatus, international vaulting us back at Easter in Fossalta di Portogruaro (ITA) for the traditional CVI. A large number of participants from all around Europe and beyond gathered in Italy for the season opening.

Cvi Portogruaro took place on November 26th and 27th at the Equipolis Tiziana, the final event of the 2021 international equestrian vaulting season. Italian vaulters as well as international ones took part to the cvi, which was also valid as World Cup qualifier.
